Tonight I’m heading out to SFU to attend BC HRMA’s CHRP Recognition Event, celebrating all HRMA members who successfully wrote the NPPA portion of the CHRP exam in 2009. I’m writing an article for the HR Voice regarding the evening, and so I’ve taken a sneek peek at the evening’s itinerary, and it sounds wonderful. I think the event is going to be really beautiful and memorable for the honorees.
The CHRP is a professional designation for HR practitioners, and so I think it’s so great that BC HRMA organizes a night to celebrate all of the successful exam writers.
To be honest, I’ve been suffering from a little bit of Olympic withdrawl … but there’s nothing like a lovely event such as this to get me into the swing of networking again, or so I’ve been telling myself! Now to rouse the energy to reply to more job ads ….
